my experience

Charles

Blogging is the one of the best club I went to. I like blogging because it talks about mostly everything. What I like about the blogging is that you can express your feelings. I did not know that blogging had its own website and I have my own essay about homeless teens. My group is Tayonna, Rachel, and I our working on homeless teens and spirituality. Then we went on a trip. The trip was so fun we went to the soup kitchen. The soup kitchen was about when you have no food or no food stamps you can go to there. The food is free. That’s so cool because never in my life I saw free food. Mr. Anthony Butler is in charge of the soup kitchen. I like in the soup kitchen is that Mr. Butler told me that if you need a check up or anything. That’s really good because these people need help. Just in case you were sick and you don’t have anything to treat it you can go to the room where they give you pills to treat it or cure it. That’s one thing I like about the soup kitchen.

What I liked about blogging class

Rachel

I really liked my blog class. Although I wasn’t in class for the whole time, I still enjoyed the classes that I attended. What made my whole blog experience fun was that I had personal experiences with homeless teens and I truly wanted to learn more about how teens have survived through it all and how and if their religion was a big part of that. I thank my blog teachers for letting me attend the work in the soup kitchen and I enjoyed it all. I liked going to the soup kitchen very much and it was a great experience. We helped out so many people by serving people and cleaning up. To my surprise the food was actually pretty good. The pie was my favorite.
Otherwise, my classes were rather interesting. We got to choose a topic and make a blog about it. We would later post the blog on blogger.com. My partner was Tayonna. We wrote about homeless teens and spirituality. Tayonna and I have many personal experiences with homeless teens and how their religion would guide and help them while they are homeless. All in all, I found my topic great and very interesting. I learned a lot while I researched and wrote. I like the fact that I was able to do all that I have done. I have blogged and posted them on websites and I can’t really get the chance to do that at home. I learned a lot from my research on homeless teens. Most of them are girls and the majority of them or were pregnant that their parent did not want them anymore. Meaning they were kicked out of their house. In 2009, I would love to continue this class. I just don’t know if I would be able to because of my math tutoring at 3:00. If there happens to be no tutoring, I will try to catch up and continue on what I was doing. I would love to write a topic and be able to take pictures. I want to be a photographer and for that to be part of my experience would be awesome!

My experience

Tayonna

My blogging class experience has been great. My favorite thing here was going on the trip to a soup kitchen with Rachel, Stephanie, Charles, and Taino. For the first time it was fun doing the dishes. The food was good too. The information in that I learned was that most teenagers that are homeless are mostly females, because Rachel, Charles, and my topic were homeless teens and spirituality.

When I come back to blogging in 2009 I want to learn is pod-casting, photography, and how to make a video blogs. The thing that made blogging fun was the people. We also put up a blog on blogger.com and it was fun putting up my first blog.
